Air Freight Manager
Job Descriptions
  1. Handle Import and export air freight and inland transport.
  2. Handle customer enquiries, quotations and overseas agent correspondence and offering solutions.
  3. Plan cargo consolidation for maximization of space utilization.
  4. Strive for competitive cost and space to maximize profit of each job.
  5. Compliance with all internal and regulatory company’s requirements and customer’s standard operating procedures.
  6. Act as a main coordinator on daily operation with our customer and internal departments.
  7. Closely work with other Departments or the Region to support the initiatives as and when necessary.
  8. Engage with and support key customer development, including RFQ pricing and direct customer engagement for key clients.
Qualifications
  1. Tertiary education.
  2. Good connection/relationship with airlines and local master co-loaders.
  3. Knowledge of handling air freight shipments, customs and inland transport.
  4. At least 10 years of solid experience in freight logistics/ forwarding industry and not less than 3 years in managerial level.
  5. Good command of written and spoken English. Mandarin speaking is an advantage.
  6. Good communication and interpersonal/leadership skills.
  7. Hands-on PC operations including MS office.
  8. Able to work independently, self-motivated, and objective-oriented person.
  9. Able to work under pressure and beyond normal office hours.
  10. Valid certificate of Dangerous Goods is an advantage.
  11. Good commercial mindset with strong analytical and conceptual skills.
  12. Possession of regular freehand or coload-in business definitely preferable.
